Landmark/Boston Lot trail network

Trail Heads: Entrances are located across from the Wilder Dam, the southern DHMC road, and Nature Walk.  Nature Walk is the most used trailhead, many group rides leave from there and it’s the easiest access for beginner and family riding.

Description: Single track trail with a range of technical riding.  Sherwood forest features trails for beginners and families.  There is a small “skills park” for new riders to test their skills. As riders climb higher in the trail system they will find more challenging terrain and obstacles.

Uses:  The trails are multi-use for non-motorized use. No firearms except during designated hunting seasons.

Paper Maps are available for purchase at: Mason Racing Cycles, Omer and Bob’s, Drummond’s, Claremont Cycle Depot, and Jake’s Market and Deli.

Ebikes: On 10/6/2020, the Upper Valley Mountain Bike Association board voted to allow electric bikes or ebikes for a one year trial period at the Landmark/Boston Lot trail system. During this time the board will look at the impact ebikes have on the health of the trails including but not limited to erosion and wear. We will also be looking to see how ebikes interact with all trail users.
Class 1 ebikes* will be permitted beginning Friday, October 16th 2020.
*A Class 1 electric bicycle or low-speed pedal-assisted electric bicycle is a bicycle equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling, and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 20 miles per hour.
